Over the last few months eight people went beyond the boundaries of our planet as the space tourism launched itself into reality. Once again, humanity has come together to celebrate space travel, but this time it feels a little closer to home.
Through generations of collaboration and innovation, we have once again sparked our shared human desire to exceed the limitations of what we know and what we see around us.
It’s not just the modern day space race we’re watching unfold, we continue to celebrate the monumental international collaboration that is the International Space Station - where teams are currently growing plants in space, reimagining the environments in which we can grow food.
And we’re proud to say that through the NXplorers programme our participants are doing that every day. From Australia to Trinidad, we all take great inspiration from the pioneers we see going beyond their boundaries, and we hope that our current generation of NXplorers will soon be in a position to inspire the next to go beyond their boundaries.

Celebrating this year’s awards with our winner, Kaveer Phillips who reimagined using carbon capture device to reduce emissions from engines.
Singapore: Hydrobox water harvesting
This year in Singapore, Team Hydrogen Bond, used NXthinking tools like the Connections Circle Feasibility Funnel to identify a low energy method of harvesting clean water for the growth of crops.
